According to FIFA, Senegal’s Ismaïla Sarr and Morocco’s Ismael Saibari are the two players to score in three successive FIFA World Cup matches.

Sarr is the latest player to achieve this record after he scored a goal in Senegal’s Round of 32 World Cup 3-2 defeat to Belgium last night.

Before the Belgium game, the 28-year-old Crystal Palace forward scored a goal against Iraq and also a brace against Norway.

Saibari, on the other hand, scored a goal against Haiti, Scotland and Brazil.

The 25-year-old failed to score against the Netherlands during 120 minutes of the encounter, but scored the final penalty shootout kick to send Morocco to the World Cup Round of 16 stage, where they will face Canada.
