FC Bayern’s Michael Olise and Dayot Upamecano maintained their places in France’s starting lineup for the final group stage game against Norway. Both teams are already through to the Round of 32 after their victories over Senegal and Iraq.

As expected, there were lots of changes at either end. However, Didier Deschamps decided to keep his attacking quartet, including Bundesliga’s Best Player of the season, who already has three assists in the tournament.

Borussia Dortmund’s Julian Ryerson and RB Leipzig’s Antonio Nusa are among those rested by the former Köln coach Ståle Solbakken. Ex-Dortmund superstar Erling Haaland, who scored braces against Iraq and Senegal, is also named among substitutes. Kylian Mbappe also did the same in the first two rounds, and he starts today as he has a chance to compete Lionel Messi for the all-time scoring record.
