World Cup 2026: Wright-Phillips names winner, two countries to play final, player of the tournament

Former Chelsea winger, Shaun Wright-Phillips has predicted England to win the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

According to Wright-Phillips, England will face Argentina in the final and will emerge victorious.

He also backed England midfielder Declan Rice to win the overall Golden Ball for the best player of the tournament.

The former Manchester City star stated this in a recent interview with All Out Football.

“Who do you think is going to win the World Cup? – England,” Wright-Phillips said.

“Name the two teams that will play in the final: England vs Argentina.

“Who will win the Golden Ball for the overall best player of the tournament? – Declan Rice,” he added.
