Will President Donald Trump attend Game 4 of the NBA Finals at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday night?

After Trump’s attendance for Monday night’s Game 3 of the New York Knicks‘ home stand against the San Antonio Spurs caused a logistical nightmare for fans and altered fan watch parties, Trump is not expected to attend Game 4 with “scheduling conflicts and obligations,” per ESPN’s Shams Charania.

The fact that the watch parties outside of Madison Square Garden came back Game 4 gave fans an early and telling sign that Trump wouldn’t be back for the next game. The fact that he got loudly booed during the national anthem may have inspired him to just watch the next game from the White House or Mar-a-Lago.

Just from a logistical perspective, not having a sitting President attend Game 4 should make it easier for fans to get into Madison Square Garden for Wednesday’s NBA Finals game.
