Will Carrick Make Any Changes? | 4-2-3-1 Manchester United Predicted Lineup Vs Everton

· · 2 min read

Manchester United will clash heads with Everton at the Hill Dickinson Stadium this Sunday as they look to secure a good result on the road in the Premier League. The Red Devils managed to earn a dominant 5-2 win over Ipswich Town recently, so they will be eager to maintain their good form in the league.

Michael Carrick will set his players up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to keep changes to a minimum for this game. Hence, Bryan Mbeumo could get a chance to lead the line for the Mancunian giants up top.

Defence

Senne Lammens will feature in between the sticks for the Red Devils after conceding two goals in his last outing. Harry Maguire will operate alongside Lisandro Martinez at the heart of the Man United backline as they look to keep a good shape on the defensive end of the field.

Diogo Dalot will hope to prove his worth as the right-back, while Luke Shaw, who is a major doubt for this game due to a tight hamstring, looks to catch the eye on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will get the freedom to go forward and express themselves inside the opponent’s half.

Leny Yoro and Noussair Mazraoui will be on standby and offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield

Kobbie Mainoo and Youri Tielemans will anchor the midfield for the Mancunian giants as they look to win the 50-50 battles at the centre of the park and engineer some inviting chances for their teammates to score.

The gifted trio of Marcus Rashford, Bruno Fernandes and Matheus Cunha will play just ahead of them as part of the Man United attack. All three of them need to be at their best if the Red Devils are to earn a positive result this weekend.

Andrey Santos and Patrick Dorgu will have to be content with a spot on the bench as they wait for their chance to shine in the second 45 minutes if required.

Attack

Bryan Mbeumo will lead the line for the Mancunian outfit up top. He has to find a way to be a constant menace in the final third if Man United want to secure a win this Sunday.

Benjamin Sesko will be named on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the latter stages if needed.
