Kelsey Plum is one of the most exciting players in the WNBA.

She was rightfully chosen to represent the Los Angeles Sparks in the 2026 All-Star Game, too.

One problem: Plum isn’t actually playing in the game.

While most of the league’s big names are on the floor, the lefty superstar misses out on the fun.

She’s averaging 23.9 points and 6.4 assists per game this season while shooting 52.7% from the floor, 38.3% from 3-point range and 80.6% from the foul line.

In short: Plum has been awesome, but she won’t be on the floor during the All-Star Game.

Why isn’t Kelsey Plum playing in the All-Star Game?

Plum is missing the game due to injury.

She is out with a soft-tissue injury to her lower left leg.

She had returned to play in June after an ankle sprain, but she had a visible wrap on her leg and is now out again.

She was replaced in the All-Star Game on Team Coop by Kahleah Copper.
