<p>The <a href="https://www.sportingnews.com/us/nhl/vegas-golden-knights">Vegas Golden Knights</a> haven&#8217;t given backup goalie Adin Hill a chance.</p>
<p>It appears they&#8217;ll be sinking or swimming with Carter Hart.</p>
<p>The Stanley Cup Final reaches Game 6 on Sunday night, and Vegas needs a win to prolong the series.</p>
<p>Hart hasn&#8217;t really been good enough, which has raised the idea of pulling him for his backup.</p>
<p>Apparently, that&#8217;s not an option.</p>

<h2>Why won&#8217;t Golden Knights pull Carter Hart for Adin Hill?</h2>
<p>John Tortorella is simply sticking with Hart, the guy he has trusted since taking over the head coach job late in the regular season.</p>
<p>He was asked about this after Game 5, and he had a blunt response:</p>
<p>&#8220;Oh, for Christ — that could be the stupidest question I&#8217;ve heard.&#8221;</p>
<p>Hart has allowed at least four goals in each game of the Stanley Cup Final through five games. That had never been done before.</p>
<p>So he&#8217;s been historically, consistently bad.</p>
<p>Tortorella simply doesn&#8217;t think there&#8217;s another option.</p>
<p>Whether he&#8217;s right or not could decide this series.</p>
