Liev Russo led the way for the Mariners with two of the team’s four goals. He also had an assist on a goal by Will Harris, who would later return the favor. The other Narragansett goal was scored by Lincoln Sottile, with an assist from Gavin Seger. 

Solid defense and strong performances by both goalies dictated a 0-0 outcome in this Division II matchup.

Alvaro “Junior” Ortega had six saves for Cranston East. For Classical, Oscar Charlesworth made three saves and Senal Zerit had two saves.

The Scarlet Knights moved to 6-0 on the season after blanking the Chieftains in this Division II matchup.

Jonathan DePietro paced the Knights with a pair of goals, Trevor Kurzbach added a goal and an assist, and Desmond Butler also recorded an assist.

In net, Aidan Rumgay made 11 saves in the shutout.

The Patriots rallied from a halftime deficit to defeat the Chargers, 2-1, in a Division I girls soccer matchup.

Chariho struck first and carried a 1-0 lead into halftime behind a goal from Morgan Brucker. Portsmouth answered in the second half when Lexi Owen found the back of the net off a cross from Loosaper Tate to even the score. The Patriots completed the comeback on a game-winning strike by Violet Silva, who scored from 25 yards out.

Portsmouth goalkeeper Greyson Helie added a milestone to the victory, recording the 500th save of her career.  

With 12 minutes left in the game, the Rebels’ Hailey Rollins ripped a shot past the Bulldogs goalkeeper from the 18-yard line to score the lone goal of the matchup and keeper Bria Bender made five saves to preserve the shutout for Division I South Kingstown.

For Division II Westerly, goalkeeper Sienna Mathieu made nine saves in the narrow loss.

Goal scorers for the Cougars included Genevieve Martins and Janiyah Smith. Abigail Lee made five saves in goal for North Providence.Nina Dady scored the goal for the Lynx, assisted by Norah Brubaker. Lincoln School goaltender Hanaa Amanullah stopped nine shots.

The Rams were led by Courtney Sims (14 kills, one block), Medlyn Beliveau (five blocks, 1 kill) and Sloane Medina (21 assists) in the shutout victory at East Providence.

Ella Grimley amassed 10 kills, 14 assists with three blocks and Audrey Bernard had eight kills and two blocks for the Townies.

Westerly cruised to a straight-set victory over South Kingstown, 25-5, 25-14, 25-9, in a Division I girls volleyball matchup.  

Ella Reyes led the Bulldogs with 10 kills, three aces and a block, while Alison Maranda contributed seven aces, five kills, 10 assists and a block. Santanaa Hamelin added five kills, five blocks, six digs and an ace, and Gemma Fusaro chipped in five kills, two assists and a block.

South Kingstown was paced by Shannon McGarty, who recorded seven kills and 15 digs. Mikenna Ji added 14 digs, while Jade Holland contributed four blocks and two digs in the loss.

The Purple outlasted the Huskies in a five-set thriller Thursday night (25-14, 20-25, 25-21, 25-15, 15-13). 

Amayah Womack led the way for Classical with a dominant performance, totaling 24 kills, eight digs and two aces. Mariluce Castille added five kills, four aces and 10 assists, while Dara Agramonte contributed seven kills, 31 assists and five digs.

For Mt. Hope, Margaret Thorpe finished with 11 kills, four aces and nine digs, GiannaSoares recorded four aces and 12 digs, and Lillian Konz added nine kills and two blocks.

The Clippers were led to the victory in a tight game (25-21 25-16, 15-25, 23-25, 15-11) by Darryl Ashilaka, who had 17 kills, seven aces and 11 digs; Jolee Farquharson, who had 10 kills and 2 blocks; and Bowie Legend, who had 13 digs and 8 aces.

For the Patriots, Peyton Winn had five aces, 12 kills, three blocks, three digs and one assist; Addy Rowe garnered two kills, three blocks, three block assists and two assists; and Bianca Abbott had three kills, two blocks and one block assist

Siena Ducharme recorded 8 aces and 8 digs, Emma McGovern was good for 7 kills and 1 block and Abby Tiernan had 2 kills, 1 ace and 15 assists as the D-I Chargers swept the D-II Wizards, 27-25, 25-12, 25-23.

For Division II West Warwick, GraceGallo finished with seven kills, two aces and 11 digs, and Jazlyne Pineda added 12 dig in the loss.

Block Island rallied from a one-set deficit to outlast Achievement First in a thrilling five-set match. After dropping the opening set, 25-19, Block Island responded with wins in the second and fourth sets before edging Achievement First, 16-14, in a tightly contested deciding set.

Abigail Willi led the way for Block Island with seven kills, five aces, nine digs and a block. Elizabeth Evans added eight kills, three blocks, three digs and an ace, while Sydnee Coffen helped had 11 assists, three aces and eight digs.

Achievement First was paced by Yenaliz Almonte’s seven kills and a strong serving performance from Majimmah Fahnbullen, who recorded nine aces.

Narragansett outlasted Rogers in a thrilling five-set battle, rallying for a 3-2 victory (25-19, 23-25, 20-25, 25-15, 15-4).

Ella Boyd powered the Mariners with 12 aces, nine kills, 16 digs and four blocks. Cassidy Solomon contributed six aces and 11 digs.

Rogers was led by Sosefina Lui, who finished with seven aces, two kills and two blocks. AlexandraBrown added three aces, two kills and four digs, while ShaylaFuentes chipped in three aces and five digs.  

The play of Lily Darden (27 assists, 8 digs, 3 aces), Lily Cote (8 kill, 3 aces and 2 digs) and Madision Preston (7 kills and 5 aces) helped PCD push past North Providence, 23-25, 25-18, 25-13, 25-19.

For the Cougars in the loss, Olivia Geib-Ayala had 14 kills and 2 aces and Danae Bruckner recorded 6 kills.

The visiting Saints dominated this game with strong performances by Makayla McDermott (13 digs, 5 aces, 19 assists), Leah Ahmed (21 digs, 2 aces, 6 kills) and Isabel Candelario (24 digs, 2 kills, 3 assists).
