Which Ohio State road game would you most like to attend?

Throughout the year, we will be asking and answering questions about various Ohio State teams, the players, and anything else on our collective minds of varying degrees of importance. We are now five days into fall camp, which means that the Buckeyes will kick off the season in less than one month. So, that means that you might need to start working on your road trip plans for the season. In totality, the Buckeyes are set to undertake one of the most daunting schedules in recent college football memory, including a number of stiff tests on the road.

So, in this week’s fan survey, we want to know which away game you would most like to attend this season. Of course, the reasons behind why someone picks a specific game will be wildly different from person to person, but we want to know which one tops your list. From competition to environment to stakes to weather to traditions to venue, which game do you want to experience in person?

Take a look at the options below, then vote in the survey at the bottom of the article. Over the weekend or early next week, we will share the results, so make sure to check back in with us in a few days. And if you want to explain your rationale or add another option, head down to the comments and break it down.

Obviously, the first road game of the season in Austin, Texas is an incredible option. Two of the top teams, programs, and fanbases in the country will face off in Week 2 on Sept. 12, and the energy in DKR will undoubtedly be out of control.

The Iowa Hawkeyes were only 6-3 in the Big Ten last season, but Kirk Ferentz always has his team ready to take on the Buckeyes, and there is no doubt he will do the same for the Oct. 3 matchup. But for me, being able to witness the Hawkeye Wave in person would be well worth the trip, as I have no doubt being able to witness one of the most heart-warming traditions in college football would be a once-in-a-lifetime, goosebump-inducing experience.

Then on Oct. 17, the Buckeyes will look to gain some level of revenge against the reigning national champion Indiana Hoosiers when they head east on I-70 to Bloomington. I was in the press box at the Big Ten Championship Game last December, so I know these two teams can put on a banger of a game.

When it comes to a Halloween matchup, there might not be a better place to play than Southern California. On Oct. 31, the Buckeyes will take on one of the most storied programs in all of college football, the USC Trojans. It will be getting cold across the Midwest, so visiting Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum as we turn the calendar to November might just be the perfect cross-country road trip.

The final road trip of the season will take the Buckeyes to Lincoln, Nebraska on Nov. 21. It might not be the sexiest game on the calendar, but it is the last road game of the regular season and will take place in one of the most iconic stadiums in college football.
