Where's Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi now? How about other 2025 CSU players?

An offseason of change means a lot of formerly prominent Colorado State football players are now elsewhere in college football.

Many of the biggest names from CSU’s 2025 roster have now moved on to other programs.

This is not all-encompassing of all players from 2025 who left (nor those from years prior), but here is a look at some of the biggest names from the Rams last year and what role they’ll have in their new home in 2026:

The quarterback left the CSU program during the 2025 season, shortly after Jay Norvell was fired. Fowler-Nicolosi had played 31 career games with the Rams and threw for nearly 7,000 career yards but struggled for consistency.

He transferred to Michigan in the offseason. Freshman QB Tommy Carr won the Michigan backup job behind settled starter Bryce Underwood, so Fowler-Nicolosi will begin the season as the third-string quarterback.

Brousseau took over for Fowler-Nicolosi at QB during the 2025 season and threw for 1,354 yards and nine touchdowns in nine games played.

He transferred to Cal in the offseason where he is expected to be the backup quarterback.

The linebacker led the nation in tackles in 2025 at CSU with 151.

Long has transferred to Arizona State where he’s expected to be a starter.

The running back made a big impression as a freshman in 2025, with touchdowns rushing, receiving and via punt return.

He’s now at fellow Pac-12 program San Diego State and is listed as the No. 2 running back on the depth chart for the Aztecs.

Dupree led the Rams with 508 rushing yards last season.

He’s now transferred to Kansas, where he’s listed as the No. 3 running back to begin the season.

The tight end led the Rams in receiving with 388 yards in 2025 and racked up seven receiving touchdowns.

Beers transferred to Oklahoma where he’s listed as co-No. 1 at tight end on the depth chart (with Hayden Hansen) for the Sooners.

Avant was a good kick returner and a running back for CSU last season and had 417 rushing yards.

He transferred to Oklahoma where he’s listed as co-No. 1 at running back on the depth chart (with Xavier Robinson).

The tight end was a high-potential player for the Rams but was injury-hit. He had a touchdown in the 2025 season-opener against Washington but was hurt the next week and didn’t play again.

He transferred to North Carolina but didn’t see the field in the first game of the season for the Tar Heels.

The receiver is one of the top-rated high school recruits in CSU history, but struggled to make a consistent impact for the Rams. He had 84 receiving yards in seven games played last season.

Ross has transferred to Arizona, but he’s not one of nine receivers listed on the Week 1 depth chart.

Morley became a central part of CSU’s offensive line in 2025.

He transferred to Kansas State and is listed as a co-No. 1 at left guard.

Martin became a key part of CSU’s offensive line, taking the valuable left tackle spot.

He has transferred to Illinois where he’s a likely starter.

Hansen was CSU’s punter in 2025, averaging 48 yards per punt.

He’s transferred to West Virginia where he’ll serve as the punter.
