Week 6 Fantasy Football Sleepers: Keenan Allen, Tyler Higbee among underrated options for your lineup
Jacoby Brissett came in last week, the most obvious play of the year, and Tyler Higbee was solid again. Mike Gesicki had just one catch, but at least it went for a touchdown. Let’s see what the sleeper page can do for us in Week 6. The stakes are raised this week, with four teams resting on their bye.
RB Dameon Pierce vs. Panthers (38%): It was rough sledding for Pierce (11 carries, 14 yards) last week after Will Shipley got hurt, but he might be the last man standing in the Philadelphia backfield. If Saquon Barkley can’t go Sunday, Pierce might get 15-20 touches against a below-average Carolina run defense. Pierce hasn’t done much in recent years, but he was fantasy’s RB27 back in 2022.
WR Germie Bernard at Buccaneers (40%): It can take years for players to enter the Aaron Rodgers Circle of Trust, but Bernard already has a ticket after just a few weeks. Bernard took over last week (6-80-0) after Roman Wilson got hurt, winning on a number of quickly-defined routes. Bernard offers PPR juice as a reasonable WR3 play in this spot.
RB Kendre Miller at Giants (23%): Miller had a modest 10-30-1 rushing log against the Vikings, but at least he punched in the touchdown and led the New Orleans backfield in touches. More importantly, Miller wasn’t held back after losing a key fumble the previous week. The Giants’ run defense has been merely average in 2026, so Miller has a fair chance at a flex-worthy score here.
WR Keenan Allen vs. Titans (39%): We got burned with an Allen recommendation a few weeks ago; ultimately a groin injury kept him on the sidelines against Washington. But Allen has nine targets in his two most recent games, and the Titans present a plus-matchup Sunday. To be fair, QB Daniel Jones has not been sharp all year. But the Allen PPR scam should be in play for Week 6.
RB Kimani Vidal at Chiefs (15%): if you want to pretend the Chargers canceled their season, we can’t blame you. It’s been a mess for a variety of reasons — injuries, slumps, slow adaptation to a new scheme. Vidal isn’t going to start, but he’s been more effective than Omarion Hampton and Keaton Mitchell in recent weeks, and he’s managed a touchdown and double-digit fantasy points in two straight games. If the byes and injuries have you desperate for a RB Hail Mary, Vidal might be your guy.
QB Jameis Winston vs. Saints (12%): Winston was a game manager in his first New York start, but he’s been back to “hair-on-fire” Winston the last two weeks. We can live with the occasional negative plays so long as Winston keeps pushing it downfield, especially to Malik Nabers and Isaiah Likely. Winston also scrambled for a useful 27 yards last week, another club in his bag. The Saints present an average matchup, so Winston is in play for fantasy managers looking to replace Joe Burrow or Jared Goff.
TE Tyler Higbee vs. Cardinals (12%): He’s been steady for three straight games (TE7, TE15, TE10) but the fantasy world remains unimpressed. Higbee, nonetheless, deserves a mention in Week 6, especially against an Arizona defense that’s struggled with seam coverage. In shallower pools, Pat Freiermuth (42%) at Tampa Bay might be the streaming choice.
