Wednesday's Connecticut high school sports roundup: Northwestern boys soccer tops Lakeview in OT

Reid Nadeau scored two goals, including the winner in the second overtime, to lift Northwestern boys soccer to a 3-2 victory over Lakeview on Wednesday afternoon.

Easton Combes scored the other goal for the Highlanders, while keepers Lucas Horstman and Landon Nadeau combined for six saves. For the Bobcats, Jackson Styles and Jeremiah Saccomer each scored a goal while Oliver Galian made 12 saves.

In girls volleyball action, Madison Donadio recorded 14 kills, including the 500th of career, in a 3-1 Wilcox Tech win over Wolcott Tech. Donadio also had 13 digs and three aces. Alivia Fiorillo tallied 25 assists and seven digs while Giuliana Rosario added nine aces and seven kills.
