The clarification was contained in a statement posted on Kwankwaso’s official page.

According to the statement, the message being circulated online is false and does not reflect his position or that of the NDC.

Kwankwaso stated that he does not support actions that could result in the breakdown of public order or lead to the destruction of lives and property.

“We do not support any action that could lead to the breakdown of public order or the destruction of lives and property.

“As responsible leaders, we remain committed to peaceful and constructive approaches in addressing national challenges,” the statement read.

The former governor also reaffirmed his commitment to democratic processes, insisting that elections remain the legitimate means of expressing grievances and seeking political change.

“As committed democrats, we firmly believe that the ballot box remains the most legitimate and effective way to express grievances and seek change.

“Our party, the NDC, is confident of securing a resounding victory in the upcoming elections through peaceful democratic means,” the Kwankwasiyya Movement leader added.

Kwankwaso urged members of the public to disregard the message and ignore individuals spreading what he described as false information.
