WATCH: Ohio State coach Ryan Day reflects, previews Maryland game

It’s Tuesday of a game week, and that means we got to hear from Ohio State head coach Ryan Day for his weekly press conference. It was a great opportunity to reflect on the Iowa win and to look ahead, including the game against Maryland coming up on Saturday for homecoming.

Most of what Day said on Tuesday was centered around where the team is and where it’s going vs. the opponent coming up, but there was a lot to take from it. We took three keys from Day’s time at the podium, but there was more that was discussed in a session that lasted a little less than 30 minutes.

If you’d like to get caught up on what Day had to say, we have his entire press conference thanks to the WBNS 10 TV YouTube channel. Day discussed the young talent and what those guys need to do to get more playing time, the need for improved play from the special teams, how he feels the competition with the running backs is going, and more.

Ohio State and Maryland are set to kick things off at 4:15 p.m. ET on Saturday, and we’ll have plenty more leading up to that one.
