WATCH Coaches poll reveal: Where will Louisville land in Top 25 rankings?

The US LBM Preseason Coaches Poll will be released today, but in a new format.

The Top 25 rankings will be revealed at noon today on USA TODAY Sports’ YouTube page with instant analysis from our team of college football experts — Blake Toppmeyer, Matt Hayes and Paul Myerberg — and will include a special guest during the poll reveal.

Louisville is expected to be among the top 25 heading into Year 4 under Jeff Brohm. The Cardinals were as high as 15th in the poll during Week 11 last year but dropped out two weeks later after suffering back-to-back losses to California and Clemson. They ended the year receiving 13 votes after beating Kentucky in the Governor’s Cup and Toledo in the Boca Raton Bowl.

This season, Louisville opens the year against Ole Miss with aspirations of reaching the ACC championship game for the first time since 2023 and the College Football Playoff for the first time ever.
