WAFCON 2026: Super Falcons resume training ahead crucial Egypt clash

Nigeria’s Super Falcons will return to training on Monday night (today) as they gear up for the crucial Group C clash against the Cleopatras of Egypt.

The team were engaged in an in-house activity on Sunday following their hard-earned 1-0 victory over the Copper Queens of Zambia on Saturday night.

Monday night’s session is expected to start at 6pm and will hold at the ASFAR training centre in Rabat.

The Super Falcons will take on the Cleopatras at the Olympic Stadium, Rabat on Wednesday.

Justine Madugu’s side started their 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations campaign with a 3-2 defeat to the Scorchers of Malawi.

The West Africans will need a big win against Egypt to guarantee a place in the quarter-finals.
