Viral 'arguing Pacers couple' were back in Brooklyn for the new season

INDIANAPOLIS — The viral “Pacers couple” Michael and Grace, who were caught arguing (or, at least, having a heated discussion) last season at an Indiana Pacers game, were spotted on camera in Brooklyn as the team took on the Nets Sunday night.

This time, Grace ended the exchange with her boyfriend Michael with a kiss. Last time, she ended the exchange with a “what the (expletive) are you talking about?” Which sent social media into an all-out frenzy.

In April, Sports Illustrated Pacers writer and host of the Setting The Pace podcast Alex Golden caught the couple at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center. As the Pacers were busy blowing out the Nets in an eventual 123-94 win, Grace and Michael were engaged in what looked like a pretty heated discussion.

Michael was passionately explaining something — hand gestures and all — and Grace was seemingly over it. Squinting, shaking her head, she said: “That’s you …. That’s you. What the (expletive) are you talking about?”

Pacers TV had these fans on the broadcast, and she is NOT having it 😂

Grace set the record straight on her X account in April, saying pointed discussions are just her and Michael’s love language.

The couple later revealed they were debating the value of a liberal arts education inspired by a New York Times podcast appearance from former University of Florida President Ben Sasse.
