The Minnesota Vikings have one of the best, and potentially one of the deepest, wide receiver rooms in the NFL. You have Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison, and Jauan Jennings as your three-headed monster, and Tai Felton is showing out in training camp.

One member of this wide receiver room will not be with the team in week one because he is facing a suspension.

Vikings wide receiver Jeshaun Jones has been suspended for three games for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy. Jones will be eligible for reinstatement on September 28th. The news broke from NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo.

Jones, a former undrafted free agent out of Maryland, has been with the Minnesota Vikings since 2024. He has spent the majority of his time on the practice squad, as he has totaled just one appearance in an NFL game, which came last season. With this suspension hitting and the deadline for NFL teams to whittle their rosters down to 53 players, it makes you wonder if Jones’ time in Minnesota has come to an end.
