Vanderbilt basketball exhibition vs Miami final score, stats, highlights

Vanderbilt basketball fell to Miami, 109-96, in its final exhibition of the preseason at Watsco Center.

The Commodores got behind early and narrowed the deficit a few times but never took the lead. Tyler Tanner had an off night, scoring 10 points on just 3-for-10 shooting. But Vanderbilt still put up strong scoring numbers with a better free-throw percentage than an exhibition against UAB. The defense just played poorly, allowing Miami to get what it wanted.

Ace Glass (19 points) and Chandler Bing (18 points) led Commodores scorers.

Vanderbilt opens its 2026-27 season against Bellarmine on Nov. 2 (6 p.m. CT, SEC Network+).
