NEW DELHI: Just days after earning his maiden senior India call-up, teenage sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi is set for another important challenge. While India A will be led by Tilak Varma, much of the spotlight is expected to remain on Sooryavanshi. The youngster has emerged as one of the biggest stories in Indian cricket after a remarkable IPL 2026 campaign with Rajasthan Royals.

His performances earned him both the Orange Cap and the tournament’s Most Valuable Player award, catapulting him into national prominence.

Sooryavanshi’s growing popularity has also boosted interest in the India A tour. Traditionally, A-team assignments attract limited attention and are rarely televised extensively. However, fan demand surrounding the Bihar-born batter has generated significant buzz, turning the series into one of the most anticipated developmental tours in recent years.
