Vaibhav Sooryavanshi score today in India vs. Afghanistan 1st T20I match in New Delhi

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi is back in international action as India faced Afghanistan in the first match of their three-game T20I series in New Delhi on Sunday.

He is making a transition to white-ball cricket after plying his trade in the Duleep Trophy with East Zone. He had an ordinary outing in the final, in comparison to his lofty standards, as he scored just 44 and eight in the two innings. 

The teenager was in fine form in his final international appearance against Zimbabwe in Harare, as he smashed 81 runs off 49 balls. He missed out on a century on that occasion, and Sooryavanshi will be eager to make amends for that at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.
