UNIOSUN disclaimer notice on false admission information circulating online

The attention of the Management of Osun State University (UNIOSUN) has been drawn to a misleading post circulating on Facebook regarding the University’s admission process, screening method, and purported mentorship services.

We wish to categorically state that the information did not emanate from Osun State University, and it should be disregarded in its entirety.

For the avoidance of doubt, please note the following:

1. UNIOSUN conducts a formal Post-UTME screening exercise annually, and screening scores are officially released by the University.

2. The University also announces the screening cut-off mark for each academic session, which guides candidates on eligibility for admission. This cut-off is published publicly every year by the University.

3. The screening score and officially released cut-off mark for any given year are strictly applicable to that year’s admission cycle and cannot be transferred or used for subsequent years.”

4. The University has not commenced the 2025/2026 admission process. Once admission activities begin, they will be duly published on the University’s official website: www.uniosun.edu.ng and its verified social media platforms.

5. UNIOSUN does not operate or endorse any WhatsApp platform, agent, organisation, tutorial centre, or training institute for admission purposes.

Any individual or group claiming such affiliation is acting without the knowledge or approval of the University.

We strongly advise our prospective applicants, parents, and guardians to be vigilant and avoid falling prey to fraudulent schemes.
