Sequel to the circular of the National Universities Commission Ref. No. NUC/ES/138/Vol.63/151 of 23 December, 2020 directing a compulsory stay at home for non-essential workers from CONTISS 11, CONUASS 04 and below, anagement has directed in compliance as follows;
(i) All staff from CONTISS 11, CONUASS 04 and below should stay and work from home for a period of five weeks, with effect from Wednesday, 23 December, 2020 to Wednesday, 27 January, 2021. They are not expected to embark on any journey without permission. However, it should be noted that any staff could be called upon if their services are deemed necessary


(ii) Staff are expected to resume duty on Thursday, 28th January, 2021 except otherwise instructed.
(iii) The various heads of essential Units should arrange a working schedule with their staff that will ensure the continuous operation of such offices. This is without prejudice to 1 above.
(iv) Other Officers who will be at work are strongly advised to adhere strictly to announced safety regulations by W.H.O. and maintain a high regime of personal hygiene.

(V) In addition and in line with the directives of the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVKD-19, all activities, involving large crowds (e.g. classrooms, hostel accommodation, conferences and seminars), should be suspended, whilst the Universities remain closed during this intervening period, pending further directives by the Federal Government on the reopening of schools.
