UNILAG opens free change of course portal for 2026/2027 UTME candidates

UNILAG stated that the application is free and warned candidates to carefully verify all information before submission.

The university said candidates must meet the prescribed Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and O’Level admission requirements for their intended programmes.

A minimum Post-UTME score of 12 is also required for eligibility.

The university emphasised that submitting an application does not guarantee admission, as admission will depend on the institution’s approved admission criteria and the availability of spaces.

One Application Per Candidate

UNILAG warned candidates against submitting multiple applications, stating that submission of more than one application would result in disqualification.

Candidates who are successfully offered admission through the supplementary process will also be required to complete a separate Change of Course process with JAMB.

According to the university, this is necessary to ensure that successful candidates’ JAMB admission letters accurately reflect their approved programmes of study.

The change of course application is open and will close on Friday, September 25, 2026.

The university advised eligible candidates to carefully review the admission requirements for their preferred programmes and complete their applications before the deadline.
