UFC OKC full fight: Dricus Du Plessis submits Israel Adesanya

Dricus Du Plessis‘ first UFC title defense was a special one.

Back in 2024, Du Plessis faced UFC middleweight legend and former champion Israel Adesanya in the main event of UFC 305. It was a big moment for Du Plessis and the division, as a lot had been said between the two in the media in years prior. Du Plessis looked as dominant as ever vs. Adesanya. He overwhelmed the former champ and ended up submitting him in the fourth round with a neck crank.

Du Plessis (23-3 MMA, 9-1 UFC) returns to the cage Saturday in the UFC Fight Night 281 (Paramount+) main event at Paycom Center in Oklahoma City. He takes on former UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman (21-4 MMA, 16-3 UFC) in a five-round bout at 185 pounds.
