UFC Freedom 250, Day 1: Media day kicks off fight week

WASHINGTON – Fight week for UFC Freedom 250 officially began Wednesday with a pre-fight media day.

MMA Junkie was on scene, reporting and asking questions to all 14 fighters who will be competing on the South Lawn of the White House this Sunday. In addition, reporters were given the opportunity to speak with Jon Anik and Daniel Cormier, who will be on commentary duties for the event.

UFC executive producer and chief content officer Craig Borsari also fielded questions from the media, giving interesting insight into how the production side of things will look should weather cause any delays.

Throughout fight week, MMA Junkie will provide day-by-day recaps of what is happening on the ground ahead of the historic event at the White House.
