Udinese plan €6m Ugresic offer as bidding war hots up

Udinese are in a bidding war for Partizan Belgrade midfielder Ognjen Ugresic at €6m, competing with Sassuolo, Bologna, Club Brugge, Eintracht Frankfurt and AS Monaco.

According to Tuttomercatoweb transfer pundit Marco Conterio, the Friulani have made a proposal worth €6m to the Serbian side.

That would be enough to out-bid fellow Serie A club Sassuolo, who had previously been prepared to offer €5m, while Bologna are also known to be tracking his progress.

It is reported that Udinese see Ugresic as the ideal replacement for Arthur Atta, who has just completed his transfer to Fiorentina.

There is also interest from the likes of Club Brugge, Eintracht Frankfurt and AS Monaco.

Ugresic will celebrate his 20th birthday next week and earned his first senior cap for Serbia in October 2025.

He is a product of the Partizan Belgrade youth academy and progressed to the senior squad in January 2025.

The player is primarily an attacking midfielder, but has been known to play in a more advanced role too.
