Tyson Bagent expected to start Week 4

Chicago Bears QB Tyson Bagent received first-team reps at practice, and while head coach Ben Johnson has yet to name a starter, Bagent is expected to start the Week 4 game against the New York Jets, according NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

Why it Matters: Case Keenum played well in his Week 3 start, but now that Bagent has cleared concussion protocol, it looks like he will be under center. Bagent is unproven, but as Keenum showed in Week 3, any quarterback running Johnson’s offense can’t be ignored. Bagent could be worth a look as a sleeper QB2.
