Thousands of spectators had earlier gathered for the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) event where Sean Weir from Wishaw defeated Leigh Cohoon from Manchester when the referee stopped the fight in the first round.
At about 23:10, police said they received reports of a large disturbance in the Congress Road area outside the venue.

Ch Insp Paul Daley said: “Several officers were assaulted whilst carrying out their duties during disorder following an event at the Hydro in Glasgow on Saturday night.
“Violence against officers is disgraceful and will not be tolerated. Being assaulted is not part of the job and it’s extremely fortunate they were not seriously injured.”
The two men who have been charged will be reported to prosecutors.
Three other men were arrested and issued with recorded police warnings for threatening and abusive behaviour and breach of the peace.
Police said inquiries were continuing and that anyone found responsible “will be brought to justice”.
They have asked anyone with information about the disturbance to contact them., external
