Troy continues their giant killer ways by eliminating Ole Miss 12-8. The Troy bats took four innings to get going, but when they showed up they scored in chunks. 

Troy scored two runs in the 2nd but those were the only runs they scored in the first four innings, while Ole Miss put up six in that same stretch. The Trojans added ten more runs the latter five innings. Ole Miss almost rallied. Getting runners on base in advantageous situations, but they wound up stranding more runners than scored. 

The team stats were very similar for both teams. Within 2 on hits, within three of total bases and the same number of home runs. Pitching team stats were also similar. Within one of strikeouts, exact same number of strikes thrown, within two of hits given up and within two of walks. 

Troy now will wait to see how the next couple days of game action plays out before their next opponent and game time will be set.
