Transfer: Sanusi attracts interest from Premier League club
Leeds United will move to sign Super Eagles defender Zaidu Sanusi when the transfer window reopens in January.
According to Football Insider, Daniel Farke’s side are ready to bring in a new left-back in the winter, and have identified Sanusi as a key target.
The Nigeria international is expected to provide competition and support for Sweden international Gabriel Gudmundsson.
Gudmundsson has impressed since his arrival at the club in 2025 but the club still want another left-back to rival him for the position.
The Whites have considered moves for Sanusi during the previous two transfer windows and will continue monitoring developments before deciding whether to make their interest formal.
The 29-year-old is set to become a free agent next summer with Porto not ready to offer him a new contract.
Leeds are looking to secure a cut-price deal for the defender in the new year.
