While the US did not have the best tournament on home soil, Balogun was a standout performer and appears to have drawn the attention of several teams from around the world.

The former Arsenal striker currently plays his club football in France with AS Monaco and has already been mooted to make a return to the Premier League this summer with the Gunners’ North London rivals, Tottenham Hotspur.

However, several more clubs are now thought to be looking at the USMNT forward.

Balogun has interest from clubs in Turkey and Saudi Arabia

Fabrizio Romano has recently taken to X/Twitter to share the update, writing about interest from Turkish team Galatasaray as well as some clubs in Saudi Arabia.

He stated: “Several clubs have called over recent days for Folarin Balogun, including Galatasaray and Saudi clubs informed on deal conditions from AS Monaco.

“Nothing concrete or advanced with Tottenham at this stage.”

Should he move to Saudi Arabia, he could be competing against, or perhaps even playing alongside, Cristiano Ronaldo.
