Transfer: Details of Cucurella’s move from Chelsea to Real Madrid confirmed

Marc Cucurella is set to complete a surprise move from Chelsea to Real Madrid this summer.

This was confirmed by the Premier League side in a statement on Monday morning.

It read: “Marc Cucurella has completed a permanent transfer to Spanish La Liga side Real Madrid.

“Everyone at Chelsea FC would like to thank Marc for his efforts during his time at the club and for the role he played in our recent achievements.”

The two clubs have reached an agreement on a €55 million package plus €5 million add-ons deal.

Cucurella will sign a contract at the Santiago Bernabeu until June 2032.
