Transfer: Delap to join Chelsea’s EPL rivals in £45m deal

Chelsea striker Liam Delap is set to join Premier League rivals Nottingham Forest.

The two clubs have agreed a £45m fee for Delap, who will now undergo his medical ahead of a move to the City Ground.

This was revealed by football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano via his X account.

Romano wrote: “Nottingham Forest reach verbal agreement to sign Liam Delap from Chelsea, here we go!

“Fee around £45m as @JPercyTelegraph reported, medical booked and #NFFC ready to proceed with formal steps.

“Delap said yes to Forest project after speaking to Oliver Glasner.”
