Bayern agree £10m compensation fee for Kompany

The two clubs have agreed a figure of around £10.2m.
The Belgian, whose contract at Turf Moor runs until the summer of 2028, is wanted by Bayern sporting directors Max Eberl and Christoph Freund.
Bayern have so far been frustrated in their search to replace Thomas Tuchel with Bayer Leverkusen head coach Xabi Alonso, Germany boss Julian Nagelsmann and Austria coach Ralf Rangnick all rejecting the job.
Kompany is expected to sign a three-year contract.
Bowen wants to stay at West Ham
Jarrod Bowen wants to stay at West Ham this summer, according to theDaily Mirror.
The Hammers star is fighting for a place in the England squad this summer having been named in the preliminary squad after scoring 20 goals in all competitions this season.
Newcastle have reportedly shown interest in the forward who is contracted to West Ham until 2030.

Erik ten Hag wants his future cleared up as quickly as possible amid speculation Manchester United are considering sacking their manager.
Ten Hag accepts mistakes have been made but believes he has done a very good job in extremely difficult circumstances.
The Dutchman is going on holiday with the feeling he is the best man for the job, having guided United to a stunning FA Cup win over Manchester City on Saturday.
Ten Hag said after lifting the trophy at Wembley that “if they don’t want me anymore, I’ll go anywhere else to win trophies”.
United will start a review of their season next week and no decision over Ten Hag’s future will happen before it is complete.
Evans: I hope Ten Hag stays
Jonny Evans hopes Manchester United do not sack Erik ten Hag as the club consider the manager’s future following Saturday’s shock FA Cup final win against Manchester City.
A poor, injury-hit second season in the hotseat has heaped pressure on the Dutchman and a report on the eve of the game claimed the club had decided to fire him regardless of the result at Wembley.

Mauricio Pochettino, Thomas Tuchel and Kieran McKenna are among those to be linked with a job that veteran defender Evans believes Ten Hag should remain in.
Asked how everyone would feel if the United manager left, the 36-year-old defender said: “I don’t know. You’ll have to ask everyone that.
“I think, on a personal level he’s been amazing for me. I can only thank him for that. I have a good relationship with him, so I hope he stays.
“Since I came back in the summer he’s had no problems putting me in and trusting in me.
“You want that from the manager, to show that trust and belief in you. He did that. Like I said, I’ve had 30 games now, so I’m buzzing.”
PSG closing in on €20m deal for new goalkeeper
Paris Saint-Germain are closing in on a €20m (£17m) deal to sign Russian goalkeeper Matvey Safonov, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Safonov is the No 1 at Krasnodar, who finished second in the Russian top flight this season, and has 13 caps for Russia.
Keylor Navas is set to leave PSG this summer, while Gianluigi Donnarumma is their current first-choice ‘keeper.
Maresca waiting on Chelsea after turning down Sevilla
Leicester manager Enzo Maresca is waiting for Chelsea to decide if they will appoint him as their new head coach after turning down an approach from Sevilla, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Blues will have to pay around €10m (£8.6m) for the manager, who guided Leicester back into the Premier League this season.
Maresca is joined by Roberto De Zerbi, Thomas Frank and Kieran McKenna on Chelsea’s final shortlist as they search for Mauricio Pochettino’s successor.
Newcastle continue talks over Tosin deal

Talks between Newcastle and Tosin have been continuing this week as the Fulham defender decides on his next move.
Tosin is set to leave the London side on a free transfer, with his contract expiring at the end of next month.
It is understood Newcastle have made their position clear in terms of their offer and it is now up to Tosin to decide if he wants to move to St James’ Park.
Tosin is the subject of interest from other clubs in the Premier League and Europe, while he is one of a number of central defenders Newcastle are looking at.
