Transfer: Arsenal to sign Konsa for Arteta

Arsenal is interested in signing Aston Villa defender Ezri Konsa for their manager, Mikel Arteta, according to The Telegraph.

Konsa has two years remaining on his current contract with Aston Villa.

Aston Villa reportedly values the player at around £60m, which is more than Arsenal would want to sign him this summer transfer window.

The report added that Arsenal is also interested in Konsa’s Aston Villa teammate, Morgan Rogers.

However, it is yet to be seen whether the Gunners could bid for Rogers and Konsa, or just one of the Aston Villa players.

Konsa and Rogers are currently with the England national team at the ongoing World Cup.
