Tottenham blocking Udogie’s exit on loan

With less than three weeks to go before the transfer window closes, Roma’s transfer window has suddenly heated up, and sporting director Tony D’Amico is working on several fronts to bring the reinforcements requested by Gian Piero Gasperini to the capital.

While Rodrigo Mora is only waiting for the final approval from Portuguese club Villas Boas, there are other deals that are more challenging and require a little more patience.

One of these is Destiny Udogie, the Tottenham left-back who could leave London this transfer window.

Roma have expressed interest and would like to bring him to the capital on loan with an option to buy.

According to Il Corriere della Sera, however, this option isn’t particularly appealing to Spurs, who have reportedly declined the offer.

Until a few weeks ago, Roberto De Zerbi’s team seemed to consider Udogie a crucial player, but now there seems to be room for a deal. To bring him to Trigoria, however, the Giallorossi will have to improve their offer.
