Tottenham and Everton agree respective deals for Ndiaye & Richarlison
An agreement in principle has been reached for Iliman Ndiaye to join Tottenham & Richarlison to move in the opposite direction, according to David Ornstein.
In what could prove to be a pair of blockbuster deals, both clubs have formally agreed on separate transfers following a breakthrough in discussions on Sunday morning.
Ornstein’s report suggests that both deals are separate agreements and both clubs are currently working on agreeing personal terms respectively.
With the September 1st deadline fast approaching, Spurs and Everton are confident of finalising all of the remaining details and are hopeful of booking both medicals over the next 24 hours.
While Ndiaye might have been linked with both Manchester City and reigning Premier League champions Arsenal over the past few weeks, Italian transfer guru Fabrizio Romano also reported on Sunday that the Everton playmaker has already given the green light over a move to Tottenham.
Although David Moyes’ men might have made it abundantly clear that they want their attacking talisman to stay put on Merseyside, the former Sheffield United starlet has rejected multiple new contract offers.
With Richarlison completely omitted from Spurs’ squad for their 2-0 loss at home against Newcastle on Saturday evening, Everton have made a return for the Brazilian international their key focus.
Largely struggling to find his feet after completing a move to north London back in 2022 for a reported fee of £60million, Romano has suggested that the 29-year-old has multiple offers that he is currently weighing up.
Tottenham boss Roberto De Zerbi admitted following Saturday’s 2-0 defeat that Richarlison is one of three players who has asked to leave the club ahead of Tuesday’s deadline.
In the final year of his current deal in north London, the Spurs hierarchy are actively trying to find a solution over the next couple of days.
