Tom Brady’s unexpected move left one NFL rookie completely stunned
Tom Brady did not need a formal autograph request to turn one NFL rookie’s shoes into a piece of league memorabilia.
The resurfaced clip goes back to 2022, when Brady was still with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Logan Hall was trying to find his place as a rookie.
What made the moment work was how casual it felt. Hall did not ask. Brady simply decided to sign.
Tom Brady autograph surprise stunned Buccaneers rookie Logan Hall
An MLFootball post recalled Brady randomly signing Hall’s shoes at a cancer charity event in 2022.
The event was tied to Tommy’s Place, a charity supporting families dealing with childhood cancer. Hall’s shoes were not ordinary gear either, as they featured artwork connected to children helped by the cause.
Brady walked over and looked at the shoes. Then the seven-time Super Bowl winner signed them without Hall requesting it first.
Hall looked stunned but grateful. He told Brady: “It’s an honour man.”
Tom Brady and Logan Hall now face different NFL chapters
Brady’s autograph has long carried serious weight in sports memorabilia, from signed jerseys and helmets to high-value cards and charity auction items.
That status has only grown since retirement. Brady is now Fox’s lead NFL analyst, a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders and still active across business, media and collectibles.
Hall, meanwhile, remains a defensive lineman for the Buccaneers. Tampa Bay drafted him 33rd overall in 2022, and he has spent his early career developing as part of the defensive front.
Hall is moving through a key stage of his rookie contract, where production, consistency and pass-rush impact can shape his long-term NFL future.
That is why the old Brady clip feels even better now. It caught Hall before all of that, still new to the league, reacting like any young player would when the greatest quarterback ever suddenly signed his shoes.
