Tinubu prays for Nigeria’s peace, unity, prosperity during Umrah

President Bola Tinubu has offered prayers for Nigeria’s peace, unity and prosperity while performing the lesser Hajj, known as Umrah, in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.

The President expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for the opportunity to undertake the spiritual exercise, describing it as a moment of deep spiritual reflection and an opportunity to seek divine intervention for Nigeria.

Tinubu also prayed for the protection of Nigerians, lasting peace in the country and greater unity among citizens.

In a prayer shared during the pilgrimage, the President called on Allah to grant Nigeria lasting peace, strengthen national unity, protect its citizens and bless the collective efforts towards building a prosperous country.

He also prayed for wisdom and strength for those entrusted with the responsibility of serving the nation, while asking Allah to accept his acts of worship and supplications.

Tinubu departed Abuja for Makkah on Thursday, October 29, to perform Umrah. The Presidency had earlier said the visit would provide an opportunity for spiritual reflection and prayers for Nigeria’s peace, unity, stability and progress.
