The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time Remake – All Release Dates & Times By Region
The official release dates and times for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake by region have been revealed, so you can start getting ready for its arrival wherever you are in the world. The reimagining of the classic 1998 game is right around the corner, and we’re all waiting to see everything it has to offer. On top of the new redesigns in Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake, players will be able to experience a new take on the classic gameplay systems, a new look at locations and characters, and much more.
Now, the wait is coming to an end. We all knew that the highly anticipated action-adventure game would be released for Nintendo Switch 2 consoles on November 5, but now, Nintendo has revealed all the release times per region, according to a new report by IGN. The times will vary a bit depending on which region you are in, and there are, notably, some regions that will gain access to the game on November 4 at night, so be sure to pre-download the title’s content so that you can start playing as soon as you can.
The file size of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake is pretty big, making it, officially, the biggest core game the series has ever seen. As such, it’s recommended that you take advantage of the pre-load system in case you purchased it ahead of its release. That way, you can start playing it as soon as Nintendo makes the game playable in your region.
The list below highlights the release dates and times for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake, according to IGN‘s latest report:
The majority of the regions across the globe will be given access to the game on November 5, at midnight, local time, as had previously been announced. However, some areas will have access to the game a few hours early, on November 4. As seen in the list, players living in the Pacific Time, Mountain Time, and Central Time areas will be able to play before November 5. As is highlighted by the IGN report, you could potentially use the region-change trick on Nintendo Switch to gain access to the game even earlier.

For example, if you change your console’s region to New Zealand, the game will become available several hours before the official release in your region, since midnight local time in New Zealand happens much earlier than in Europe or the Americas, for example. Of course, depending on how you purchased the game, this will be impossible. Some players are getting bonus freebies for Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake via physical pre-orders at local stores, so they won’t be able to use such tricks.
Of course, the difference between the regional releases is just a few hours, so fans can simply wait it out during the day. This is one of the most anticipated games this year and this month, as November will also serve as a stage for the release of the long-awaited Grand Theft Auto 6, but luckily, fans of both will have more than enough time to beat The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake before Rockstar’s new hit drops.
