Texas A&M Week 4 expert picks for matchup vs. LSU

For the first time this season, Texas A&M will enter a game as the underdog. That’s no surprise after Saturday’s 31-21 loss to Kentucky. The Aggies struggled on both sides of the ball, and several concerns that had been building through the first two games became harder to ignore.

The defense gave up too many open receivers and explosive plays, but Marcel Reed will draw the most attention heading into Baton Rouge. He was inconsistent against Kentucky, and his two interceptions ended promising possessions. Reed has shown he can deliver in this matchup, helping A&M beat LSU in each of the past two seasons. After Saturday, though, the Aggies need him to play with better control when the pressure rises.

LSU is coming off a loss to Ole Miss, so both teams have something to prove. Most of the experts listed below expect the Tigers to respond at home.
