Texas A&M star WR named to Phil Steele's preseason All-American Team

On Wednesday, the official start times for eight of Texas A&M’s twelve regular season games during the 2026 season were revealed, providing third-year coach Mike Elko and his newly formed roster, once again led by redshirt junior quarterback Marcel Reed, who enters his second full season as the starter, which, based on recent history, has been the sweet spot for most SEC signal callers.

At wide receiver, KC Concepcion, who led the Aggies with 61 receptions for 919 yards and nine touchdowns, combined with 456 punt return yards and two scores, departed for the NFL after being one of a record 10 players selected in the 2026 NFL Draft, going 24th overall to the Cleveland Browns. After landing Alabama transfer WR Isaiah Horton, junior wideout Mario Craver has taken over as one of the team’s offensive leaders.

Likely his last season in College Station, Craver, who reeled in 59 receptions for 917 yards and four touchdowns, averaged 15.5 yards per reception, and is by far the fastest and most dangerous playmaker on the roster. After landing Horton, Craver is expected to move to the slot full-time this season.

A 2025 Biletnikoff Award semifinalist, Craver was the lone Aggie named to Phil Steele’s Preseason All-American list, making the Second Team on Wednesday afternoon. Craver shot on the scene after transferring from Mississippi State, making his presence felt during the Aggies’ memorable road win over Notre Dame, led by the sophomore’s 207 receiving yards and 86-yard touchdown reception.
