Texans Player Hit With $8,165 Punishment Ahead of Week 6 Game Against The Jaguars
The NFL has made a decision on the punishment for Houston Texans wide receiver Jaylin Noel over an infraction he committed in Week 5’s game against the Tennessee Titans at Nissan Stadium in Nashville.
“Texans wide receiver Jaylin Noel fined $8,165 for face mask infraction, per a league source,” Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston shared via a social media post on X, the social media platform that was formerly known as Twitter.
The 24-year-old Noel committed the infraction after catching a pass from Houston quarterback CJ Stroud on a 2nd-and-10 in the second quarter of the Titans game. The facemask penalty called on Noel canceled the nine yards Houston would have gained on that play.
Noel, however, was able to atone for that penalty later on in the contest, as he caught a nine-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter to extend Houston’s lead.
Noel finished the game with 41 receiving yards and a touchdown on five catches and five targets, as the Texans demolished Tennessee, 26-3.
On the season, the former Iowa State Cyclones star wideout has 227 receiving yards and a score on 13 catches.

Noel and the Texans lost four games in a row to start the 2026 season, but they have finally gotten a win at the expense of the Titans.
Now, Houston looks to sustain its momentum as the team next faces the Jacksonville Jaguars at Wembley Stadium in London for a Week 6 clash.
The Jags have been the best team among AFC South Division teams to date, with Trevor Lawrence and company bringing a 4-1 record and a three-game winning streak across the pond.
