In fact, Arnold just finished visiting the Houston Texans. As many recall, Arnold was arrested and charged with eight counts of felony robbery and kidnapping.
Right after he made bail, the Lions cut him a few hours later, but that didn’t seem to stop teams from being interested in him. Arnold received a character reference from his former Alabama head coach, Nick Saban, which may have helped him make bail.
So which team may be the right choice for Arnold? Well, the first team he visited, the Houston Texans. First of all, like Arnold, head coach DeMeco Ryans played at Alabama. Also, some of his former teammates are on the team, including Will Anderson Jr.
This might be the perfect environment for him to thrive, with familiar faces who may be more willing to give him a shot, given where he played his college ball.
It also wouldn’t hurt if he ended up with the defending Super Bowl champions, the Seattle Seahawks, and their great defense. Either way, Arnold has his pick of some excellent teams, and it’s just a matter of who fits him the best.
