“I am blessed to receive an offer from the University of Tennessee,” Perkins announced.

The 6-foot-1, 185-pound wide receiver and defensive back is from Franklin Road Academy in Nashville, Tennessee.

Memphis was the first school to offer Perkins a scholarship on June 7. Other schools to offer him a scholarship are Vanderbilt, Nebraska, Tulane, Washington, Auburn, Louisville and Penn State.

Perkins visited the Huskies for the Washington-Washington State football game on Sept. 6 at Husky Stadium in Seattle, Washington.

Franklin Road Academy (5-3) will next play Friday against Grace Christian Academy (Knoxville, Tennessee). Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m. EDT at Franklin Road Panther Stadium.

The Panthers will have one game remaining in the regular season after Friday. Franklin Road Academy will host Columbia Academy (Columbia, Tennessee) on Oct. 30.

The Vols do not have a commitment in their 2030 recruiting class.
