Tennessee football flips South Pittsburg's Dayon Cooper from Florida State

In-state recruit Dayon Cooper has committed to Tennessee football, he announced on social media on June 15 with a shared Instragram post.

Cooper was initially committed to Florida State before reopening his recruitment on June 14.

Cooper is a three-star athlete in the 247Sports Composite and is the No. 22 overall player in Tennessee. The South Pittsburg star played all over the field and was named Mr. Football in Class 1A. The 6-foot-1 athlete had 1,252 total yards on offense with 17 touchdowns and recorded 35 tackles on defense.
