Taye Currency: Rollex Dee reportedly vomiting blood in police detention, mother cries out

Rollex Dee, Nigerian singer and former loyalist of popular fuji star, Taye Currency, is reportedly sick.

According to Rollex Dee’s mother in a video online, the family was called that the singer is vomiting blood in police custody.

The mother said, “Nigerians please come to my rescue.

I received a call two days ago that my son was ill and vomiting blood.

Please don’t let them kill my son in police custody.” This is coming months after Rollex was arrested and detained by the Oyo State police command DAILY POST reports that the singer was arrested in April 2026, for allegedly defaming Taiye Currency while granting an interview on ‘Agbaletu’ program.

Confirming his arrest, the command on its X platform, stated that its officers tracked Rolex to Lagos after receiving a petition from Taye Currency.

Despite the public outcry and plea for his release, Rollex has remained in police custody since April.
