According to the notice, the annual vacation is in line with Order 8 of the High Court Rules 2011, which empowers the Chief Judge to fix the period of the court’s annual vacation by notification published in the gazette.

Justice Agya stated that all divisions of the High Court across the state would observe the vacation during the period.
He, however, clarified that urgent matters would still be entertained during the vacation.

He added that a judge could also hear a matter if all parties concerned jointly requested that the case be taken during the vacation.
