Stefon Diggs posts six catches in his return to the lineup

Washington Commanders WR Stefon Diggs caught six passes (on seven targets) for 44 yards and a touchdown during the team’s Week 6 loss to the San Francisco 49ers.

Why It Matters: Diggs returned from a one-game absence to finish second on the club in receptions and fourth in yards while also securing his fourth touchdown catch of the season. With Terry McLaurin (knee) being carted off, Diggs suddenly finds himself in position to slide into the nominal WR1 role in Washington with Treylon Burks and Antonio Williams likely moving into expanded roles as well. The Commanders are off in Week 7, so we won’t see what a post-McLaurin passing attack looks like for a couple of weeks, but Diggs is well positioned to become a decent WR3 for fantasy owners going forward.
